I'm blown away, this is fun and tasty! So yesterday I received a pizza stone that I had ordered over the weekend, and decided to try making a quick weeknight pizza dough, and it turned out pretty good! I forgot to take photos last night before devouring it, but I captured some today before cutting this one with the other half of the dough. Pics have details.

REALLY enjoying Hades; I picked it up yesterday but didn't start til today, and it's immensely fun!

Baked pretzels over the weekend, two batches! This is the first half of my first batch, have never made soft pretzels before. These were fantastic, my second batch even better than the first. Nice bitter leathery crust with that soft chewy pleasant interior, just delightful! They're not even hard, just time consuming during the forming and prep process, and you might want a decent stand mixer or dough kneader.

Anyway after 25 minutes of trying to get her to plug her fucking laptop into the router, she ended up driving up here, which was going to take 30 minutes, and then another 30 minute drive home. I was trying to save her the hour round trip but she wouldn't be patient enough for that, so, I guess her loss for taking a grand total of 5 minutes of office time to fix this.

Anyway the fix was literally to plug her laptop into her router for literally like 3 minutes, and she couldn't even manage that, using remarks like saying that she couldn't do it because it's not her day job. I had the resist the urge to snark about how my 75-year-old parents could do it and tech had never been their job either. Hell, I was impressed that my dad managed to get a printer mostly working on his computer and Mom's mac.
