v intrigued to see if this will replace my 4th gen as my daily driver.
it handles higher storage capacities much better and the colour screen is a nice touch but the 4th gen has a better clickwheel and the b/w display is so much more readable in bright daylight
the 4th gen allegedly also sounds better but i'll be damned if I can actually hear any difference lmfao. esp. not with the shure iems i use with it most of the time.
i think this might just be head-fi snake oil you only "notice" after you've seen frequency response curves
